About the event

Sometimes scripture seems to be at odds with the reality of life.

What do we do? Do we deem Scripture to be untrue, unreliable, or out-of-touch, or do we dig deeper for understanding?

Every part of Scripture must be understood within the whole. Its larger story helps us to make sense of smaller parts of the Bible and make sense of our own stories. As we grow in understanding the story of Scripture, we come to understand both why our lives will never be without struggle and why we have unshakable hope for the future!

Nancy Guthrie

Bible Teacher, Author

Nancy Guthrie teaches the Bible at her homechurch, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, as well as at conferences around the country and world. She is the author of numerous books including her most recent book, Even Better Than Eden: Nine Ways the Bible’s Story Changes Everything About Your Story, and is the host of the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast at The Gospel Coalition.
